This page sets out what Dozy is and is not responsible for. By using Dozy, you acknowledge and accept the limitations, disclaimers, and liability exclusions described here. If you do not agree, you should stop using Dozy and request account deletion immediately.

1 Nature of the Service

Dozy is a productivity and task management tool provided as a software platform to help you organise your work and collaborate with others. Dozy is not a substitute for legal, financial, medical, or any other form of professional advice. Nothing within Dozy, including any content, scheduling suggestions, or notifications, should be interpreted as professional advice of any kind.

As Is Provision states that Dozy is provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that Dozy will be error free, uninterrupted, or available at all times. You use Dozy at your own risk.

2 Service Availability and Reliability

Dozy does not guarantee any specific level of uptime or service availability. The platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, infrastructure outages, or circumstances beyond our control.

• We are not responsible for any loss, missed deadlines, lost opportunities, or other consequences arising from service unavailability or interruptions.

• We do not guarantee compatibility with every browser, device, operating system, or network environment.

• We do not guarantee that Dozy is free from software bugs, vulnerabilities, or other technical deficiencies.

3 Data and Storage

While Dozy takes reasonable measures to protect your data, as described on the Database and Information Storage page, we cannot guarantee that stored data will always be available or recoverable.

• We are not liable for any loss of data, including tasks, projects, or attached files, except where required by law.

• Backup retention is limited, and deleted accounts and data cannot be recovered after the 30 day retention window has passed.

We do not guarantee that any file uploaded to or downloaded from Dozy is free from harmful, malicious, or illegal content. You are responsible for scanning files you download and for ensuring that files you upload comply with applicable law. Dozy is not responsible for damage to your device, network, or data caused by files accessed through the platform.

4 User Conduct and Content

Dozy is not responsible for the content that you or other users upload, share, or store within the platform. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Dozy, and any content you create or share, complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

In the event that Dozy is required by law to disclose data in connection with a legal investigation, shared project content contributed by other users may be affected if it falls within the scope of the relevant legal order. Dozy is not liable for consequences arising from such disclosures.

5 Third Party Services

Dozy relies on third party infrastructure and integrations including Supabase for database and storage, Stripe for payments, Google for calendar integration, Microsoft for calendar integration, and EmailOctopus for transactional email. Each of these providers operates under its own terms of service and privacy policy.

• Dozy is not responsible for downtime, data loss, or service issues caused by third party providers.

• Dozy is not responsible for changes to third party services that affect the functionality of Dozy integrations.

Your use of connected third party services, such as Google Calendar, is governed by those providers own terms.

6 Liability Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dozy and its operator, Dávid Kelen, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. This limitation includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity, or reputational harm.

In jurisdictions where exclusion of liability is limited by law, Dozy total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

7 Service Changes and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Dozy in cases of abuse, security risks, or legal obligations, and in such cases no refund will be provided. We may modify or discontinue features or the service at any time, with or without notice. We reserve the right to change pricing and plan features in the future.
